Jay's Gourmet grew from one person's lifelong love of cooking into a family-founded enterprise serving communities across Northern California.
A passion that started at 12
Chef Jay picked up a love for cooking at age 12 and never put it down. His "Mood with Food" philosophy blends culinary tradition with bold, innovative flavors to create lasting experiences.
Tracy's trusted caterer
When the City of Tracy awarded Jay's Gourmet its official concessions contract, it confirmed years of trust built one event at a time — managing four stands across 22 sports fields. Jay's Gourmet is also an approved NorCal Kaiser Permanente food vendor.
Food as a force for good
Through the Lakey's Youth Foundation, "Game On" covers sports fees, equipment, and travel for young athletes. The Gourmet Initiative gives high school students hands-on culinary training and a pathway to real careers.
